VBQ offered to post stolen bikes on our web site, free of charge. The idea was to provide a sort of clearinghouse, where dealers, buyers, etc. could check individual bikes before they purchase them. Bikes listed had to be accompanied by a reward of at least $ 100, as an incentive for people to look for them.

Apart from one bike - which was recovered, but not due to the web site - there was no interest. I assumed that stolen high quality classic bikes aren't a problem. Am I wrong?
