Eric, I think The Super Record has the medallions. Matt St Gios, Belmont Torino, CA

I've just joined the CR list, as I've finally purchased my first "real" bike pertinent to the list.

It is a Gios, but I am unsure of the model, despite many hours of research on the internet, and would greatly appreciate help identifying what it is. It has the Gios medallions in the fork crown, drilled out rear dropouts, a square Columbus tubing decal, the typical Gios Torino seat tube and down tube stickers, olive branch Gios decals on the fork blades, and a black Gios chain stay guard/sticker. Judging from the NR rear derailleur is it an 1983, though that could have been easily swapped out at some point in time, all the threading is Italian, the rear dropouts are 126, it is a standard 6, with 700c rims. The weird part is that there is no decal on the top-tube, which from what I have found would easily identify it as either a Super Record or Professional.

The bike can be viewed here: http://ebay.com/<blah> some better photos I can email if interested.
