I'm glad to see Rich Gangle get a positive mention on this list. He is a close personal friend so my observations are not without bias. Nevertheless, he is the guy I would have make me a frame if I didn't make them myself. He hasn't slacked off any lately, what he has been doing is making more titanium frames. His shop is one of the 7 wonders of the framebuilding world. One of his characteristics that sets him apart is his ability with machine tools to make whatever is necessary to do a job. I have never understood why he doesn't have a cult following. It's probably because he is kind of shy. If it was based on the quality of his frames, he certainly would deserve it. If he lived in Japan, he would get one of those - what do they call it? - living national treasures designations they award the top craftsmen in their country. He is a racer and always has been so his frames reflect that interest. Anyway, list members should consider him (his shop is in Golden, CO) for their framebuilding needs.

The frame reminds me a little of a Confente - some of it has to do with the graphics (I think) but also the level of finish. Hopefully I will make the frame builders event in Houston so I can take a look at the work of other modern masters like Brian Baylis and e-Richie.

That frame is simply stunning, color choices aside. Thanks for sharing.
