To which I would add in the 70's, late '77 or early '78 Euro-Asia Imports ordered a substantial stock. They has most drilling configurations at $49.95 wholesale. They were the CPSC compliant type, English threading. Still have my pair in a box, but not for long. Got them even though I was not riding much then as they were too cool.
