After having spent a wonderful week with 12 people in my home, I thought that the departure of 5 of them today would have given me one day to recoup and prepare for the onslaught of squealing joyous kids opening gifts. Well, it wasn't to be. It seems Santa has changed colours and moved up delivery by one day. He turned up at my door at 9.30 AM today, dressed up in brown and without the beard and/or pot-belly. You couldn't however mistake that it was jolly old saint nick, as he came laden with gifts! I have only opened a few boxes so far, but I must have been a truly good boy this year: 20 boxes of bicycle things from Italy including 3 Masi, 4 Bianchi and lots lots more. Mike Schmidt has already volunteered to come help unpack.
I hope you all enjoy your holidays too. I know that notwithstanding the frigid temperatures, I'll be spending most of my weekend in the garage.
