Hello all, and happy Boxing Day. It seems as if it's probably Unboxing Day for a couple of you lucky souls that got more presents than would fit under the tree.

Here is some follow-up info on my mystery bike:

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dlr94306/album?.dir=/3f24&.src=ph&.tok=phkzgQCBwFCk1Xb7

serial # on underside of BB shell: 1705885 (very faint) wheelbase c-c of fork ends is 98.5cm top tube c-c 56.5cm, 25.6mm dia seat tube c-t 55.5cm, 28.8mm dia chain stays 41.5cm down tube c-c 60.5cm, 28.8mm dia head tube 14.5cm, 32.0mm dia seat stays 52.5cm, R stay tapers from 13.2mm to 8.7mm, L stay tapers from 14.2 to 9.5 seat post 26.2 seems a bit loose, may be 26.4 rear fork ends spaced 108mm, front is 98.5mm fork blades are 22mm dia, clearance from front fork ends to underside of crown is 35cm.

The tubing diameter measurements are a little iffy because the powder coating is pretty thick. I don't know the original color. It was painted baby blue when I got it, and seemed like a fairly crude repaint.

The hubs are kind of mid-size flange, 40h rear and 32 hole front. Looks like aluminum flanges pressed onto a steel body. The rear is a flip-flop, with lock ring threads on both sides. No mfr marking that I could find on the hubs.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
