Charles,
"Lucky" you are. I stared at the pics for quite a
while, so I have some questions. First though, it's a
stunning bike, the seat mast takes the cake, and the
red-accented stem, it's a Phillipe, right? All the
pinstriping is beautiful, and the top-style striping
on the Nervex lugs, I may or may not have seen this
style before, but now that I've seen yours, I can't
imagine, from my point of view, wanting it the other
way, in the braze. My questions: What year was this
Condor made? What model is it called? Is the paint
original? If not, who did the work, and when? And
finally, what does it say on the oval near the seat
lug?
Thanks for the OOH! AAH! This and the belly laugh from
Ted. E. Baer made for a very satisfying CR session
today.
