The following is from the catalogs: -The no hole, no cage lip, front derailleur is called "Record" till 1977 when it gets cage lip and is called "Gran Sport" (then "Nuovo Gran Sport"). -The 1977 four hole front derailleur is called "Record" -The 1982 three hole front derailleur is called "Super Record" -The 1984 three hole front derailleur is called "Record" -The 1984 three hole front derailleur with black arms is called "Super Record"
The 1982 Super Record front derailleur and the 1984 Record derailleur are the same derailleur; just a name change.
