I am selling a 1974 Raleigh Competition Mk.II Model DL 165. It came to me from its original owner who bought it in 1975. It is 21 1/2"
(their smallest according to the catalog). Largely original, it has TA cranks, Huret Jubilee derailleurs, Normandy hubs, Weimann Centerpulls with Black hoods in new condition. It is from their Carleton factory and is made with 531 tubing. He used the bike on an indoor trainer so part of the underside of the top tube has been sanded and resprayed and looks quite original with no decal damage. All the decals are intact, although there has been a bit of fading on some. Rims are Mavic which are not specked in the catalog. The saddle is a replacement but remains a Brooks B17 narrow. Asking $425 plus the actual cost of shipping. I will pack the bike to insure its safety. If anyone is interested, please contact me off list. Edward Albert Chappaqua, N.Y.
