This is indeed a wonderful place! I am glad Dave found a replacement for his Merckx, but am not surprised considering the class and character of the folks on this list.
I am more of a KOF fan and list member, with the mid to late 1980's and early to mid 1990's lugged steel frames being my favorites. That said, if anyone comes across a 54 c-c Merckx MXL in nice condition and reasonable I would sure like to have one. I am a big enough man to admit the heavy-duty tubing would not be too stiff for me ;-)
