I show literally thousands of makes and models of bicycles in the Used Bike Buyers Guide, many never having graced the pages of Classic Rendezvous. And, because most aren't discussed, they aren't considered "collectible", but they might be extremely rare. My point being that rarity and collectibility don't always go hand in hand. I don't know how many bikes that Brian Baylis, Peter Johnson, or Richard Moon have made, but I would guess that their bikes might be more rare than a Confente, yet not as collectible because they are still building and alive. It is an interesting exercise, but I sense a LOT of bandwidth to once again debate the relative merits of framebuilders, albeit with a somewhat more structured approach. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
