Driving down the street saw a bunch of bikes for sale at salvation army store, caught a glimpse of an old looking road bike in the middle. So I pulled over to see what treasure I might have uncovered, it was an Italian 70's Chiorda that was a spectacular piece of junk with cottered cranks, steel rims and utterly forgettable components. If Walmart sold Italian bikes in the 70's this probably would not have been up to their standards. They were asking $59, I wouldn't pay 59 cents but I'll keep looking , maybe I'll stumble onto an old Cinelli or Masi one day.
