In my view, quality is a constant--rarety is not.Quality will always add to the value--rarety may or mayl not.Say a builder only produces 1000 frames. He has 1000 fans only at the start--a little more if each frame is re-sold.This may drive up the price at first--but 75 years later with only 10 frames left around--they are a high quality frame from someone no-body remembers.A lot of those around from the early 1900s.A Van Cleave on the other hand is worth something because the builders are still remembered.
