In trying to re-frankephile the Stella, I found a pretty pair of Belleri bars which were to be paired with a faux-lug AVA stem. Well, the bars are too small and I don't want to use shims. So I stumble onto randonneur bars on an old AVA stem which will be great since I'm building a french sport-tourer/club-racer type. I cleaned-up the bars and looked for markings but no luck. Can anyone confirm that some AVA bars did not have any identifiying markings?
