I've come across an odd looking headset with the markings AES on it. The cups are not round sided but have completely horizontal and vertical sides/top. The top adjustable cup has the locknut as part of it with 2 set screws to hold its adjustment in place. I'd guess it is from the late 70's or early '80's.
Anyone familiar or ever heard of this? Made by AES? Anything?
