Hiya Folks,

I'm a new poster. Been lurking for a little while. I've been infatuated with the 70/80's Italian bikes, but have been moving toward the flat fork crowns lately. Still intimidated by the 60's bikes. They're before my time. I'll give a better description of my collection in a later post.

My most recent acquisition was a Medici Pro Pista. The surprise was the 151bcd Pista crank, and the No Record hubs. I checked out the archives. The Medici story was amazing. I recommend anyone who missed it to check it out. What I can't surmise is whether the pre-68 date applies to pista cranks as well as strada, or whether the pre-63 date applies to track hubs as well as road. By the way the left crankarm was a Strada, how much different are they from the pista?

I am looking forward to participating more actively on the list. Can anyone explain to me how to reply to the digest without copying the whole thing into the reply? This has actually kept me from posting a few times.
