I am not a curmudgeon, but sometimes I feel compelled to act like one. I just recently posted an article to rec.bicycles.tech complaining that it was an inappropriate forum for discussing Marco Pantani's death. Now this.
I've noticed that recently CR has been morphing into a general bicycle discussion list. For those who want to get into issues other than classic lightweight bicycles there are lots of venues to explore. A search of usenet news groups for "bicycles" will surely turn up a group more appropriate for discussing death and bone density.
