Hi, Brian,

According to study in Japan, they say NR rear came out 66 to 67 with 9T pulley, stamping top as "PATENT CAMPAGNOLO". Later all plastic pulley have 10T.

Then 67 , 68, and 69 years have stamped "PATENT" only.

And, "yes", the first year the number came out was "70"

By the way, I saw your front mech, I think it is not pre 1971.

The main front frame (triangle shape) which holds 2 pivots should be one flat piece, while I can see yours have a round shaft base sticking out. Then after 72, they stard using "C" ring to lock upper pivot arm.

Campy NR mech's are made 20 (rear) to 30 (front) years, and have the most interesting and complex history and mystery.
