I agree with Richard that there it's difficult to accurately judge color temperature from a film, as the hot portion of the joint is going to greatly over-exposed in relation to the rest of the subject matter. That said, I've personally had enough frames on the alignment table that were so easy to move a lot, that I don't have a lot of faith in the "semi-skilled worker with a torch at a carousel" method of building.

Many years ago, I watched Tesch silver braze a joint at the Masi San Marcos facility (one of his own frames) and it was a thing of true beauty! Just red enough and just long enough for good flow!

I'd much rather watch eRitchie make a bike than eat a hot-dog!
