In my experience, I found that the "sinterized" pads were less than optimal
once you put a good year or two on them. Besides, in the mid to late 80s, I
recall reading a blurb by Modolo proudly stating that they "no longer used
ASBESTOS" in their brake pads. I thought that was just wonderful; after years of
using cancer-causing Asbestos, they were so nice to tell us that they had "quit"
using it. Gee Modolo, thanks for the consideration! cheers
