Just curious if the letter codes mean anything? ie: AO, UO, PX, PY, etc. If they do it's in French anyway, so I'll never guess them!

Indeed. And why is it that Peugeot almost never put the model name or number actually ON the bike? We think of the British as being understated, but they sure weren't when it came to plastering all sorts of fancy transfers and model names on their lightweights whereas the French seem to just assume those in the know knew what was what when they saw it. If that isn't French, I don't know what is!
