With coffee cup in hand I was groggily reading my morning paper here in Vermont and was stunned to see the headline: "Riders pay homage to Steel Age" accompanied by several photos of fancy lug-work and a lengthy 3/4 page article. Upon closer inspection I find it's the same LA Times article mentioned a few weeks ago on the list about CR members Chuck Schmidt, Steve Haas and Scott Smith and their monthly vintage ride out of Pasadena, California! You guys are nationally famous! Way to go! (Although by bringing our niche hobby to the attention of the broader public you may have just caused the prices of fine vintage bikes to rise substantially, making it even less likely I'll ever be able to afford to indulge my bike lust!).
