Verhallen an old race shop here in Holland was sitting on several hundred Superbe groupsets! They were bulk packed!...............Winter of '85 I was doing a buy with this shop and on the wall there was a display of a groupset!............This groupset was complete with Freewheel, chain, Handlebar and stem!..............The old guy said, would you like to buy some Suntour Superbe groupsets? I said what's the price?...................He said 400 Dutch!...Back then the USD was very strong, this came out to WHOPPING!....................$ 133.-!..............I said maybe next time, he said no problem because we ''STILL!'' have about 600 groupsets..........Look for yourself!......I looked and he was right! NOW THIS WAS A BIKE SHOP AND NOT A WHOLESALLER! In these days it was normal for shops here to buy in big quanties.............But this was awfully ''BIG!''

BTW: The regular price on the groupset was 850.- Dutch!.........Yep! We were cutting the deals back then and we still are today.

Sorry guys.................Groupsets are long gone...............Less a few stems here and there. The shop is now more of the MOM and POP operation.

BC Baron C....................And the gang!!.................Always on the hunt for a good buy! Renaissance cycles, Eindhoven Holland.
