Where is the most cost-effective place to have a reynolds 531 fork made to match a period-correct bicycle ?? For example, I got a quote of $270 from Mercian for a fork with a special-order sloping crown, campy tips, and 6" of chrome on the blades, and no paint. That seemed like a very decent price.
What are some other options? Thanx.
