I have being going through mountains of my Dads and Father-in-laws stuff. Just can't move for bike bits. Think neither of them through anything away in the 60+ years they were cycling! Amongst their things is a Italian made freewheel hub unit very similar to the Bayliss Wiley unit hubs. The markings on it are TANK BREVETE S.G.D.G. The hub is steel chrome 40H small flange (low flange). It has a stamped bicycle trade mark, central oiler and is fitted with 3 x 1/8" cogs 17T 16T 14T threaded both sides. What is it please and when would it have been made?

Best wishes and be lucky. Michael Butler Huntingdon UK.
