Dale,

I do own 2 Masi bicycles, but some of the info on your chart is incorrect. The San Marcos bicycle IS a GC, and the color is NOT light metallic blue as stated in the chart, but a straight metallic blue. I'm not certain that it is a re-spray, although I can't be certain that it is original. I bought it in 1990 when it was just two years old, and although it is near perfect to this day, I suppose it could be a re-spray. Just not certain. BTW, I know that some collectors (all?) consider it to be a "second tier" bike, but when I ride it with Vittoria CG/CX Corsas, (on rare occasions--they still hold air!) it is just a lovely ride. (Not adding to the 'other' discussion, just a simple comment.)

The Italian Masi was built in 1971 (steerer tube is date stamped 11/71). Purchased from a LBS (six blocks from my house) in about 1999 or 2000 for $250. Deal of the Century. Thanks for updating the info about my bikes.

Pat Moffat Tempe, AZ Where I'm WAY not talking about my Pog.
