As I was packing for shipment a NOS Avocet crankset the other day, I suddenly noticed that the inner face of the mounting surfaces had been milled away, or "notched," apparently to clear the 41. If you really want to use a 41, you might want to keep your eyes peeled for an Avocet, I suspect the Ofmega had the same treatment.

Nah, this isn't sellers' remorse; the cranks are going to a list member for a good use instead of hanging on my wall.

If you miss the one on ebay and still want one, you can still get a new one made by TA. Every bit as nicely machined as Campy but made in the typical TA beautifully mirror polished aluminum. I have them for $40. Beware though, with TA or Campy, you will need to grind away the inside edge of the spider arms on your crankarm if a vintage chain is to clear without making noise. That is why Campy only "officially" made them as small as 42T.
