It's good - about as good as anyone could ever ask for. I have a small amount of scarring at the very bottom of my heart, but it pumps like a normal heart. If I eat right and exercise and take my meds, I should be good for a long, long time.

The prayers and positive thoughts and support from you made a huge difference, and we're eternally grateful. Thank you all again.

Nagging content - if you have any cardiac strangeness in your family history, please consider getting everything checked out. If nothing else, the baseline data can come in handy later on should problems develop.

Bike content - I'll be back on a bike in early July, so long as I take it easy. Figure early August before I can start attempting longer rides, but that's fine. I've got this 1982 Mercian Colorado all built up with a mongrel mix o' parts that I haven't had a chance to ride yet, and how sad is that?

best regards, Russ Fitzgerald Greenwood, SC
