Despite the suicide nomenclature used for the M-71s, these pedals functioned very 'well' when I used them years ago. Set up properly, they were the first clipless road pedals (I believe). I remember having to nail the proprietary cleats into my shoes, but was thrilled to be attached cliplessly for the first time! - probably a good deal at $26 but I have no idea...
