Tom, Are the cups the "thin walled" type? (That is, the type used with Grand Sport and the later Athena BBs?) If so, the thinner cup wall compensates for the wider spindle. It least that's how it has worked out for me. Cheers, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
