Barry, The Peugeot Competition (PKN) was one model down from the PXN (Super Competition.) (with the N denoting clincher tires...on Mavic Module Es, which have recently been discussed onlist.) The Competition had 531 main tubes, but not fork and stays. Nice bike...is it Pearl White or Blue? And it dates from the late 70s through early 80s, unless somebody else remembers otherwise? You can spot the 80s bikes by the helicomatic rear hubs. Hope this helps...
