What I've seen wrapped with tape: Brake levers (whole thing or in two or three bands) Brake lever bodies out over hood Brake lever body where housing exited the top Water bottle cage (bands so aluminum bottle didn't rattle) Handlebar Water bottle clamps (to eliminate sharp corners) Pump clamps (to eliminate sharp corners) Pump to frame tube (so pump wouldn't fly off bike) Toe clips (comfort) Toe strap end (after doubling over end for gripping) Brake housing to top tube (three or four bands to eliminate clips) Handlebar ends taped over cork pounded into bar end
