I'm still trying to positively ID an old frame I have and thank Mick Butler (as usual) for his suggestions. The frame has a grease point in the upper headlug facing the front, i.e. just above where the headbadge would normally go. According to Mick, there were quite a few marques who produced frames like this including Claud Butler, Carpenter and Purves. If anyone knows of others, can they please let me know the make and model if possible (a steer towards some photographs would be great!).

Mick's best guess so far is a GA or a Tweedel Lancaster Special from Liverpool. I'd love to hear from anyone with a knowledge of either of these marques.

I have lots of jpegs of my mystery frame available if anyone thinks they can help.

Thanks,

Bruce
