I have to admit to being one of the lurkers that Chuck refers to.
I am happy to read the exchanges here, sometimes get simply irritated by some of the themes, be highly amused (and sometimes also irritated) by others, but largely use the list as an interesting source of information - and an end-of-day relaxant...
I sometimes add a posting as you may have noticed - but I generally tend towards the adage of "if you haven't got anything to say - don't say it."
