Wow, It's amazing to me, too, because I and a couple buddys

bought some of these bikes before we really got into deep

bikiedom. This eBay seller is really either unaware or

trying to pull a fast one!

First and obvious to most CR listers, it's a Cinelli copy,

not Colnago, and the parts are Nuovo, not Super Record.

Secondly, rather than a commemorative limited edition,

it's just like every other Windsor Pro, a second rate stab

at trying to look like a top quality Italian bike. These

all had Columbus SP tubing (except the head tubes, which

had seams inside!), including the track model (see those

road fork blades?).

But here's where they really cut corners. They had cheap

chrome plate spokes (which soon broke), low quality Mexican

rims and tires, and a Mexican made Cinelli Unicanitor copy

saddle which actually said 'Unicanitor' (!) but was much less

comfortable. And add Cheap Mexi toeclips and straps and you

have... well, a Windsor. They did look pretty, though, and

attracted a lot of unsavvy buyers, just like in the eBay

auction!

By the way, that's not the original bar and stem. All

Windsor Pros had Cinelli bars and stems, and the track

models had steel (Pista) bar and stem.

Buyer beware!
