the original pic was of an italian built prestige and yours is of an american built ?. i think it's apples to oranges since the original post-er was on a fishing expedition regarding the period frame and its possible use with top-mounted shifter; the tt frame looks like something that would never be built at the vigorelli, imo. i'd suggest it was built at least 10 years after the
other b-w pic was shot.

This is my last post of the day, so I have to make it count. Has anyone seen another Masi with aero shifter mounts on top of the downtube like the one in the picture of the Masi Prestige at the above link? This would date from early-to-mid-80s, right?
