Had a Torpado with these AER brakes, Super Light model methinks. Otherwise came with Campag. equipment dated 1983.

Greetings all,

Via a rather generous deal with Lou Deeter, I have obtained a set of Univeral AER calipers. At this time, I do not have any real use for them, but before I offer them up, I would like more info about these brakes. They appear to be timeline relevant, but the limited info I find does not fully establish that. The best comment I got from the CR archives was that they were "poor stoppers" Nothing on the Universal site at CR.

So can any one educate me on these interesting calipers? Thanks.
