Seller claims, "RARE MODEL Raleigh Super Gold Grand Prix Bicycle!!!" What will be far more rare is if they obtain the $500 starting price for this low end Raleigh bike that has decal scratches on the top tube.

The seller is represented through http://www.goebidz.com which is a store front eBay reseller. My guess is that they do not know the value of the bike (or lack thereof) and are fishing for a starting price. I'll bet they cut the next re-auction starting price to less than $100 with no reserve...

It amazes me that people stick prices on eBay items just to see what the market will bear. $500 + 100 s/h/p for this bike is simply crazy!
