Always nice to see bicycles get some press, in this case also the cover story for Design News. Because most of you would have a hard time finding this even in a good bookstore, I've included the link. The article has a good discussion of mordern frame technology. About as close as this gets to CR on-topic is the comment that the "vast majority of frames today are built with alloy steel", which was a surprise to me, but after considering China and the "Walmart" market, I guess it isn't surprising.
