Hello Frank,

Regarding the range of the Rally rear, I'm running 50/46/32t chainrings with 12-34t Suntour Ultra 7 freewheel on our Jack Taylor triplet. The Rally is the first generation of Rallys and it shifts excellent. I also have a tandem with one of the last versions of the Rally (looks like a Nuovo Record with a long cage). I'm running a 54/46/36 with a 12-32 Suntour Ultra 7 freewheel. I'm also using Simplex retro-friction shifters on this tandem. Contrary to belief, this last version of the Rally shifts the entire gear range with silky ease.

Regards, Dave Martinez Fremont,Ca (cloudy, but dry)
