Ray, If you would have taken the opportunity to come to Houston you would have seen why carbon fiber bikes can be considered handmade. Builders actually do load the pre-preg into molds and make their tubing and lugs by hand. They bond the parts by hand and they finish by hand. I hope this helps next time you are asked such a question.
