I want to correct one glaring omission in the below. Doug Fattic was both an exhibitor and a presenter, doing an excellent seminar on frame painting. His frames on display were top-notch, both in terms of construction and paint. They rated right up there with the prize winners, and he could easily have taken a prize.

There will be a detailed account of the first annual North American Handmade Bicycle Show in the February issue of The Racing Post, but it is worth saying that the show was a success in terms of exhibitors and public attendance.

Awards were given based upon votes tallied by the public and the exhibitors at the show. It was quite a site to see repsected builders showing appreciation for the craftmanship of their fellow builders.
