Pete; I had been in Bikes not Bombs just before moving to Wisconsin and Carl showed me the bikes. I wanted to help Karl move them, but Joanne and I were in the middle of packing, and about to leave Boston in a day or so before. The bikes are a strange mix of parts, with some Campag, Hi-E and Phil Wood, but certainly an interesting mix. If anybody in the area has time, they should stop in to BnB and take a peak at the bikes.

BnB is a very worthwhile non-profit endeavor, as Carl and a few others teach young inner city young folk the art of cycle repair, and promote cycling as an alternative mode of transportation. They also collect donated cycles that are repaired and shipped to countries where they can be used for daily transportation by peoples that couldn't otherwise afford bicycles. If CR members in the Boston or New England area have parts or complete bikes they don't want BnB can certainly use them, but they don't have facility to pick up, so they must be mailed or dropped off. They deserve our support.
