This seems like a pretty typical Craigslist vintage bike ad, from what I've seen. First, there's no way that bike was $2600 in 1976. No way. Second, the couple of pics. only show (small bits of) a bare frame. Third, the lugwork isn't "polished aluminum." Fourth, when a seller sez "this bike is well worth what I'm asking," it almost always isn't! Maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of his asking price in this case (if complete and in good shape, which you sure can't tell from his pics.). Fifth, aah, never mind! It's Baloney Central again. :-) Greg "harumph" Parker Ann Arbor, Michigan
