I'm talking about the steel version of the Levin. I think they make an alloy version also. Pretty sure I've compared bearings and found them to be the same. A thinner crown race should not create a problem other than maybe requiring a additional HS spacer at the top of the steerer.

I'd be careful with that, as the Levin race is both thinner (7.6mm vs 9.9mm for Campy Record Strada) and ground for a different size bearing (Levin uses 5/32" balls; Campy uses 3/16" balls).
