i have the colnago book in its original italian version. it is great. it has some several rare photos, but the neatest thing about it (imo), are the copies it contains of the blueprint/build drawings of several bikes built by colnago for merckx and other famous riders, showing exact dimensions of each frame. there are drawings of at least 3 of merckx's frames, showing slight variations of tube lenghts and angles between each bike, which in turn demonstrates that eddy was indeed millimetrically precise when it came to his equipment. i believe this book indeed is not commercially available - mine was a gift from a bike store owner in italy, grateful for helping him make his nut for the month in my 4 hour shopping spree, back in 1989. highly recommended book for the colnago or merckx tifosi.
