Yes I have see it before I always felt some days they were better then others but it just depends on how close you will look. Yours seems more off then normal but I have not ever seen a perfect set before. Steve

I just purchased a pair of NOS 64-44 late logo/no groove bars from an ebay seller that appears to have a quantity of them. They are NOS and don't appear to have been damaged but they seemed a little "tweaked" to my eyeballs. If I hold the raised bar clamp surface flat on my desk letting the end of the hooks rest on the desk, one end comes up about 1/2" short. I checked another pair of late logo mod 64's as well as an old logo pair and they both lie flat. I also noticed when doing this that the shape of the hooks on the ebay bars do not exactly match the others (the others do match each other). The hooks flare down a little more on this new set. Is it common for there to be some inconsistency in these late bars? Does not seem like a case of "handmade" as I'd think they use automated benders throughout the process. Maybe one end was just cut too short, as the bends appear to be even. I've asked the seller to check his other stock, which he said he would do. Maybe it was a batch of rejects or seconds he came across? I've also asked if I could have a replacement for these to which he has not responded. If any of you are bored and want to check any pairs you have around I'd like to know if this is an isolated case or not. Thanks much.
