check the old/dusty/vintage Duegi's that Nashbar has on sale. These have slotted cleats that are suited for On Topic pedals.
It's an odd selection, but you might find something you like. I picked up a pair that featured white side panels reminiscent of saddle shoes. A bit of acetone to remove excess white dye, and some black dye were enough to make the shoes look acceptable. For $20, it's a small gamble.
Other than that, the pickings are slim. Barron at Bicycle Classics found some great Detto's a year or so ago, and gave the CR crowd a great deal on them. As Jan mentioned, the Carnac Carlit is a shoe that's in production, and has the right appearance. No cleats, but good enough for the average ride. The soles are not quite as stiff as I prefer, but are manageable.
good luck,
