Subject: [CR]belated introduction and help dating a fuji

hello list, my name is galen pewtherer, and i live in san francisco where i work as a computer geek. i'm not really a collector, i'm more of a bike nerd, i have a few different bikes, all of which i ride and work on on a regular basis.

i found the classic rendezvous list via bikeforums.net in my quest to id what is turning out to be a masi-labeled, torelli-marketed, frankenstein of a track frame.

on to my question; i have a fuji sprint track frame that i'd like to date, and am hoping that some of the folks on this list would be willing to help me out.

it's a lugged frame, with a 'fuji chrome molybdenum steel tubing 331' decal, a 'made in japan' decal, and a hand-stamped serial number on the bb shell -- 77D50085.

pics are here http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dolface_2/album?.dir=/8793&.src=ph&.tok=ph88CdCB8nxL7QpX

any help would be much appreciated.

thanks,
