This is something that almost any serious collector experiences from time to time. I haven't had it happen to me with bikes, but I have gone through it in other hobbies.

It's a good time to reflect on your goals and aspirations for your collection, and an opportunity to offload the things that are excess, or just don't fit those goals well. For example- and I have no idea if this is the situation- Say you have 30 sets of campagnolo hubs, And you wonder why so many? Just decide how many you might need for projects, and how many make a nice neatly displayable collection. Any beyond that, can be sold to make space, and raise funds for the ones you don't have yet. I've done this a couple times with sports cards, getting rid of some I just didn't have an interest in anymore.
